Is it possible to change the default style of the attached text label on shapes? For example, when I use the predefined text labels for these shapes I get this:

I know I can just not use the predefined label and add a separate text box (which is what I did for the example), but it would save a lot of time if I could change the default style for a document. Ideally I would change it for all shapes for the document, but if I could accomplish the same thing by editing each master shape that would also work. I can't figure out how to change the style of the label on a master shape (or even on an individual shape).

Unfortunately, there is no setting in Visio 2016 to meet your requirement. Generally, we can change the default Text size, letter case, Bold and other fonts settings in a drawing.

But no setting to add a box for the text. Please insert the Text Box in Visio 2016 as a workaround.
