Hi,
IM trying to use the Kinect v2.0 on my desktop system using a ASUS MB Z97I-Plus and when I run the config program it stats that It has issues with the USB3.0 controller, stated on the forum the Z97I-PLus uses a Intel chipset/USB controller so not sure why the system crashes or brings up this issues in the config program.
PLease help
What operating system 8/8.1 or Windows 10 preview? What is the error KCV is giving you? Is it a warning or a red X, warnings are not issues just not hardware we profile as long as you are able to get the data. As for crashing, what is crashing specifically and how? Do you have a crash dump you can make available?
As for the particular motherboard, have you updated the BIOS to latest looks like there are performance updates since its initial release: http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/Z97IPLUS/HelpDesk_Download/
