I am trying to get my Kinect working on my ASUS laptop running Windows 8.1. When I run the Configuration Verifier, I am told that I have no supported USB 3.0 port, although there is a USB 3.0 on the computer. Is this a driver issue? What can I do to fix this?

Hey, i have the exact same problem. I searched the forum for a decent answer, so far it seems its a problem with the usb 3.0. (i had to install a pci express to usb 3 card since my motherboard didnt have a usb3). There is a problem even with the manufacturer of the card it needs to be either Intel or Renesas. Thing is i have a Renesas my self but still dont have it work....
