Hi- I am trying to get our VS 14 installation all patched and I've run into this snag where running VS14-kb3165756.exe update keeps asking to be pointed to the MS package KB3165756.msp.   Our system is in an environment where it is unable to connect to the internet.   I cannot seem to find the package anywhere.  Any suggestions?

Welcome to the MSDN forum.

If this computer cannot access the internet, then it will fail to upgrade, since it requires download the resource during the installation. Please follow this and try to download an offline installer from another computer, which have the internet network, then copy the whole installer to your current computer to install.

You can also try to download the ISO file of VS Community/professional/enterprise 2015 update 3 from here, choose the ‘DVD’ type like the following to download, then use it to upgrade.
