I develop an VSTO add-in which sets the WebViewURL property on a handful of MAPIFolder objects. Since the latest updates for Microsoft Office (10/10/2017), the ability to set a folder homepage (either programmatically or via the Outlook UI) appears to
have been removed.
I understand that this was done in response to a reported security vulnerability (CVE-2017-11774), but I would like to know if there is an alternative solution that I can implement in my add-in e.g. white-listing a specific URL or embedding a control in a panel
or region?
