I was wondering if you patch MS Project Server 2010 with the June Cumulative patch that was just released, do we need to patch all the MS Project Professional programs?  There doesn't seem to be a cummulative patch for MS Project Professional.

 Hi Jedmo,

 

It’s not mandatory to match client CU with server CU, but its considered to be as best practice. However sometimes to fix certain issue you have to install client patch as well as server patch. Make sure to review the "Introduction" section of CU to find out issues fixed by particular CU
