Hi there,

We host an on-prem Sharepoint 2013 foundation for our client. Our client have recently installed Office 365 on their PCs. They are now having trouble opening files that are stored in our Sharepoint 2013 on-prem. When they try to open a Word or Excel document, the application will say something like file cannot be found.

We have tried to open the file via multiple methods. First method being opening the file directly from within Internet Explorer browsing the Sharepoint site. 2nd being opening the library with Explorer.exe, then double clicking on the document file to open. 

Have tried clearing all the creds from credential manager. 

This wasn't a problem when they were using just standard Office 2016 (non 365 office).

If you have already cleared all the creds from credential manager etc., try this

IIS -> Sites -> SharePoint -> SSL Settings -> Ignore Client Certificates
