My SharePoint 2013 sites cannot open office documents. It gives an error message Sorry, we couldn't open http://******/filename.docx. Strangly it is opening documents from my development site. I use IE 11 to open documents both from dev and production. On production, If I use Firefox, it opens the documents. Followed all posts cleared cache etc. Still no luck. Apparently some other companies also have the same problem. Tried uninstalling updates, but the dev server has all the recent updates.

Hi Binu- there could be many reasons for your issue. Can you check the logs to see what errors you're getting and post them here?
