I'm running VS2013, VS2015 Community and VS2017 Community on win7 x64. I noticed recently that I could not add any Controllers to my VS2015 projects anymore and after searching the web repaired my vs2013 installation. Now, all of my vs2015 projects are coming up with the error: 'incompatible project' and they fail to load. I attempted to repair my vs2015 installation, but it stopped with the following error:
Setup Failed!
Install cannot continue because some required components failed.
Please correct the following problems and restart the setup...

Am I just going in circles or can these versions of Visual sTudio actually coexist?
Upd: on examining my installed programs, Visual C++ 14.11.25325 appears as part of the VS2017 installation. I'm guessing when I uninstall this version to perform the repair, my vs2017 will be broken??

Thank you for posting in MSDN forum
please go to Windows Update to see whether there is the update to install, if there is, please install the update first. Since installing visual studio requires your windows updated to the latest.
Then reboot your machine and go to Control Panel to repair your VS 2015 again.

This is just a warning, it means a more advanced Visual C++ redist version is existed, you can ignore it.
