Hi, I am trying to learn UWP App development by using some of the Microsoft tutorials provided by Jerry Nixon.  I realize that his tutorials are presented using VS2015 and that I am using VS2017 on a  Windows 10 Fall Creators Updated computer but I am able to work through most of  the differences in the two versions of VS.

But, I have come to a stumbling block when trying to work with DATA and VISUAL STATES in Blend.  The tabs (in Blend) that host these functions contain the message "This feature is not available for projects targeting "Windows 10 Fall Creators Update (10.0; Build 16299)"

Now, if I create the visual states in VS2017, the App builds and runs properly (visual states and all) using the VS Debugger in both VS2017 and its companion Blend.  Also if I set my project to "Windows 10 Creators Update (10.0 Build 15063) the Visual States and Data Tabs are fully functional in Blend 2017 and work as advertised.

Since using visual states seems to be the direction the MS wants its developers to go in I find it hard to believe that the functionality for VISUALLY creating them has been removed with the deployment of the latest and greatest version of Windows 10.
