Hello Everyone,
I'm seaching for solution for my project.
I need to transfer Outlook Calendar with colors (defined by cathegories) to SharePoint on some other site, wherever.
This is calendar of events, it needs to be visible on the big screen during the day.
We made NPSA account, so very simply leader of meeting/activity could add account to the invitation, and it is visible by everyone who needs this info.
I've tried calendar app on SP, but then leaders will have to make 2 the same tasks for one meeting. If those meeting are currently in outlook (or will be), the best was probably another NPSA account in Outlook.
Maybe somehow we could share site from outlook to sharepoint or subscribe only specific meetings?
1. Sharepoint online gruoup calendar - but then everyone in the group will get a notification, and we do not need this.
2. 'Publishing calendar" does not allow colors yet and is not good visually.
3. There is a site (youtube) how to import O.calendar to SP, but this seems to work as a copying, not be synchronized with outlook. And there are no colors. (macro for synchronzing, javascript for colors?)
4. Maybe there is a possibility of making sime rule that would color meeting in SP depending on cathegory in O.?

There is no OOB method to sync calendar from Outlook to SharePoint Online. And the ability to use the calendar overlay in a SharePoint Online calendar that is retrieved from Exchange Online isn't supported. We cannot use the calendar overlay to let the Exchange Online calendar display in the SharePoint Online.
