i have a multi select people field added to my site. But it is awful, the column gets insanly large on the display view since every participant takes up 1 row isntead of being like 5-10 names long seperated by , or ;

Has anyone has had the same issue and knows how to achieve it? Im trying to make a good looking form but this is the last thing im stuck at and cant figure out.

Each column will auto resized based on css , it is designed like that. Add a Content Editor Web Part in your page and modify the core CSS file.
