Hi,

We have a list workflow attached to document library. We are triggering this workflow from Information management policy 2010 workflow. 

We are able to trigger 2013 list workflow from 2010 workflow. And It is assigning a tasks to SharePoint Group. However when user approve this task in "Modified By" field it is populating "SharePoint App" value instead of user who has approved this task. What changes we should do in Workflow so that it populates actual approver name instead of SharePoint App incase of workflow triggered by information mgt policy SharePoint 2010 Workflow.  

Workflow populates "Modified By" field to the right Approver in case the workflow triggered from list (on item modification.

Hi Amit,

From your description, the "Modified By" column will be populated with "SharePoint App" when the workflow is triggered by  information management policy 2010 WF.

Since it works fine when the workflow triggered from list, there is no issue about your 2013 workflow.

Please provide more information and screenshots about your 2013 workflow and Information management policy workflow for helping us solving your issue. Then I will test using your steps in my environment.
