I just changed out a Windows XP PC with a new Dell Vostro unit.

The new PC is XP SP3 with Office 2007. All the latest Windows and Office Updates have been installed along with Kaspersky AV.

There is a Shared Documents and a User area in SharePoint.

My understanding is before the PC switch the Save As dialog box would come up in the same SharePoint directory where the source file was opened for both the Shared Documents and User area.

Now this only works in the Shared Documents area and no longer works in the User area, forcing the user to navigate the entire SharePoint directory tree each time to save the file. This is causing a lot of frustration and wasted time.
