Hi,
 I request help from SharePoint experts.


I have created document library called 'A' and created datasheet view in library 'A'.There are multiple users on site.I have given some of the user read-only access to document library 'A'.
When thses users (with read access) go to data sheet view of document library 'A' , then they can't view the documents,document content aren't visible to them.

Is datasheet view with read permission is not possible in sharepint 2013 ?

What i checked so far-
1-check Versioning Settings in document library Settings
2-no filter
3-user have read permission on the items


Question:
Is there anything more that I need to get the user read only access ?  Why are the users unable to see the list items?

Note: I do not want to grant 'Contribute' user access as this allows the user to edit/delete the list contents.

Hi Abdul- users with read access cannot view items in datasheet. You must use a different view or give them contribute access. The datasheet view is specifically made for editing, therefore they can't access the items that way.
