Hi, In our Azure Directory we have users that have corporate domain suffix that their source is listed as "Microsoft Account". These employees could create a Live-ID with their corporate email addresses (via this link: signup\.live\.com) and we invited them to our production azure tenant. (or before it was limited to gmail or yahoo).

Corporate IT department registered the corporate domain in their Azure tenant and updated the UPN of all users. When inviting new users from the corporate AD their source is listed as "External Azure Directory".

We would like to re-invite users from the Corp AD to our Production Azure Tenant, it benefits us in these ways:

  • Users won't have to remember another password for the Live-ID or Azure user.
  • Corp IT have control over the users (which include passwords and MFA). Once an employee leaves the company Corp-IT will disable his user and he won't be able to access the Production Azure Tenant also. (With Live-ID we don't have this control)
