Till last Friday my SharePoint version was 15.0.4787.1000 and the script to added button below picture field ( type = hyperlink or picture) worked perfectly fine.

I upgraded SharePoint farm to April 2017 CU and now the version is 15.0.4919.1003, and I don’t see "Select image" button below picture field,

I have updated the field name to add button below field of type "single line of text", it worked but not only for field type "Hyperlink or picture".

Any idea is the issue with the patch or script ( I cannot rollback patch now).

What script did you use? To reproduce this issue, please provide the script code.

Please create a new Hyperlink or Picture column and test again, check if this issue occurs on the new column.

In addition, you can try to install the latest CU for SharePoint 2013 to see if it fixes this issue.

Note: if you are using a Product environment, to install an CU, you can install it on a Test environment then install it on your Product environment.
