Currently using VS2010 RC1

Using Microsoft provided sample app. called CancelationScopeXAML that contains only one parallel activity with 2 CancellationScope Activities. Just added third CancellationScope Activity. When I did that my computer froze for about 1 min and CPU usage went to 50%.  This slugish performance is what I experienced in WF 3.5. I thought it was fixed in WF 4.0. I was told by MS Tech support that WF 4.0 can handle up 500 activities with no delay.

Which Windows are you using? Windows 7, windows xp or others?
I have not such a experience before. Does the CPU usage go to 50% every time you add a CancellationScope activity?

That is true, we can run up to 500 activities with only .NET Framework4. it doesn't mean that we can open 500 activities in Visual Studio 2010 at the same time.
