I am trying to Migrate my SP2007 site to Sp2010 .For this I am using Database attachment Procedure.

Then I used Mount-SPContentDatabase to attach my existing SQL 2008 database .Don't understand the point of an in place upgrade . The newly created database shows in the central admin but has the following details:

Microsoft.SharePoint.Upgrade.SPContentDatabaseSequence2 Current Schema Version: 3.0.0.0, Maximum Schema Version: 4.0.8.0
Microsoft.SharePoint.Administration.SPContentDatabase Current Schema Version: 12.0.0.6520, Maximum Schema Version: 14.0.4762.1000

I think you have mistakenly posted this question here :-) Because it is a Sharepoint Upgrade issue, not related with commerce server.
