I'm trying to install SSE08 on a fresh install of WSS3.0 and Project 07 on Server 2008R2 in a single server setup with a SQL 2008 backend.  Project and WSS work correctly.

During the setup os SSE it fails with: Setup is unable to proceed due to the following error(s): This Office Server product cannot be installed on a server with an earlier release of an Office Server Product installed.  Uninstall the existing product and re-run setup.  Correct the issue(s) above and re-run setup.

Is there an update that needs to be slipstreamed into SSE?  WSS3.0 and Proj are at SP2, the only way to install it on r2.   Ideas?
