I'm running into a problem with SP Designer 2013 where the far left Navigation column is not showing all of the choices for Site Objects. Namely, I'm trying to select "All Files" (which is at the bottom of the list), but the Site Objects column ends with the "Site Columns" choice. I know there are other choices below that, but cannot get to them. I've tried changing screen resolution and other settings, but none of them affect the Designer's display.

Anyone have any idea what's happening to the Navigation column display and how to fix it?

Your Farm Administrator or Site Collection Administrator have changed some of the settings that control what you can do with SPD. If you look at the article linked below entitled Manage Permissions and Control Access to Sharepoint Designer, you will find the following paragraph:

"- Enable Managing of the Web Site URL Structure Enables or disables the ability to view and edit files in the URL structure of a site. If unchecked, SharePoint Designer does not display the All Files option in the Navigation pane."

This setting can be unchecked at either the Web App or Site Collection level.  Doing so will remove the "All Files" entry just as you describe.
