Hi,

Issue is this:

I have 2 document libraries A and B.

In A, i have a workflow when a new file is uploaded, an email is sent to several users with a link to the created/uploaded doc.

=> this worflow is flawless when i upload the files "manually".

Now my issue is that when i want to use the "Move to" function from doc library B to move files from B to A, the workflow is blocked:

I have tried to add a App Step in my workflow but still not ok.

I might add that Sharepoint Alert is not an option, the workflow i am using is doing some very specific task and customizes email sent to users.

Did the issue occur in SharePoint online or SharePoint 2013?

If the issue occurs in SharePoint 2013, we only can use "Send to" function in the document library. And per my test in my SharePoint 2013 environment, the workflow can be triggered successfully when the file is sent from library B to library A.

If the issue occurs in SharePoint online, the workflow can be triggered successfully when the file is moved from library B to library A.

To troubleshoot the issue, check things below:

1. Republish the workflow to check if the same issue will occur.

2. Create a new workflow which is the same as the original workflow to check if the same issue will occur.

3. Create a new document library and create a new workflow which is the same as the original workflow to check if the same issue will occur.
