I've been working with VS Community 2015 on two computers and shared my code between them with the TFS. For a long time I had no issues with this, but some time ago I got the message:

"Your evaluation period has ended. Your license has gone stale and must be updated."

I have used VS 2015 for longer than 30 days on that computer before I first got this error. When I click 'Check for an updated license', the following message comes up:

Do these two computers have the same OS version, under the same open network condition, and have you try to sign the VS with the same Microsoft account?

There are some factors that may be blocked the verification of the Microsoft account in VS, please have a try with the following to troubleshot this issue:

1. Make sure set IE11 as the default browser
2. Run VS with safe mode using the command: devenv /safemode
3. Create a new windows account with administrator permission and login the computer with the newly account
4. Perform a clean boot like https://support.microsoft.com/en-sg/kb/929135 and temporarily disable any antivirus, run VS as administrator

Meanwhile, when you use the default browser IE11 to directly access this: https://account.microsoft.com/aboutand sign in with the same Microsoft account that you used before, does it works fine?
