I am a newbie to SharePoint, and have been asked to create a Announcement List. However, this list will need to pull announcements from other sites in the collection.

IT have a site which contains an announcement list. The announcements on the IT site need to be pushed into the companies dashboard announcement list at the top level. Does anyone know how this can be done?

Hi Narocroc- you have a couple options as long as the sites are in the same collection: you could use a query web part to pull in the items from the lists, or you could add the list(s) to the top level site.
