I recently migrated the site from on-premise server to SharePoint online. The older site was using the workflows based on 2010 platform. After the migration, I can see the workflow association on the list using the SharePoint Designer 2013 but when I click to open it, it errors out. I receive the error that the workflow might be deleted or press F5 to refresh it. Any ideas on why this might be happening? I can open the workflow which was created using 2013 platform from the on-premise site without any issues.

How it is migrated? Is it migrated using 3rd party tools or you took a back up (WSP) and moved it to SPO?
