Hi, I'm trying to encode a DVD to H.264. The DVD's contents are split among 4 VOB files. However, Encoder 4 Pro will crash everytime I try to add the 4th VOB. I get not descriptive error and Event Viewer says the program crashed because of an unhandled exception. Any insight would be helpful

Which flavor of Encoder are you using? If it's the free one, this is likely a 3rd party issue, which I would suggest you resolve by trying other codecs.

Either way, I would highly suggest you first stitch your movie together by reauthoring it with a tool like DVDShrink with the option of creating one VOB file. Expression Encoder doesn't know anything about the DVD structure, IFOs, etc, so you have to massage the data a little first.
