I am the part time administrator for a school sharepoint web site.

In previous years I have used Access to manage the Calendar list events with no problems.

This year when I open the Calendar in Access I can edit all fields but the Description field, which Access informs me is read only.  If I open the calendar through the SharePoint web interface I can edit the description.

As I need to update the content for the 388 entries that it just allowed me to import (excluding the Description field, which the import ignored), I would like to understand what I need to set in order to give me write access to this column in Access.  I have checked the sharepoint permissions for the calendar as a whole and I have edit access.  I cannot see any attributes on the calendar list that would make one column read only.

SharePoint Online不支持修改MS Access中日历列表中的说明"字段，仅在SharePoint内部部署版本中有效.

SharePoint Online not support modify  "description" field in calendar list in MS Access , it only works in SharePoint on-premise version .
