I encountered a peculiar issue sometime back which is still existing. One of our clients was checking the task list for some data based on some Workflow on a list. This is all SharePoint 2010.

The workflow is a custom one developed using Visual Studio. The task associated with this workflow does not have any entry.

1. The workflow is working fine.

2. None of the previous entries are present in the Task List.

3. When the workflow is triggered, no new entry is present in Task List.

Steps taken so far to debug the issue:

1. Checked the recycle bin in site and site collection. No data there.
