This is so frustrating. I have WMS on Server 2008 Enterprise and I can connect to either a LiveStream or the WMS itself. I choose a sample WMV file on my Windows 7 PC and when I click Start to Encode, I get 'An Unknown Error Has Occurred'. I get this on 2 other PC's that also have EE4. What gives and why is this so hard to setup and run?

I honestly apologize for this inconvenience. We will get to the bottom of this. When you said you chose a sample WMV file on the Win7 machine, was it Wildlife.wmv found in X:\Users\Public\Videos\Sample Videos? It's an 720HD video file and I believe the only sample shipped as part of the Windows 7 operating system. If not, can you share the source file for debugging? It can be sent to paumay@microsoft.com if the size of the content is reasonable.

You are running a live broadcasting project when importing the file correct? Assuming this is a transcoding project, when you click on the Activity Log tab near the bottom of the UI, is there any other information present regarding the failure to import that file?
