We have a defined workflow where we record using BeyondTV to .mpg (mp-2) files and then use the smart squeeze function to convert these .mpgs to .mp4 files. These .mp4s are then loaded into expression encoder (ee3 and ee4 have been used) where they are then transcoded to 3 streams for smooth streaming (900 kbps, 500 kbps, 300 kbps).  The source files are 1000 kbps.  I've attached the .xej files used for ee3 and ee4.

Unfortunately about 5 percent of the videos do not encode properly, they appear jerky as if only like 5% of the frames were encoded, and the audio is fine.  We always use exactly the same workflow, so we cannot figure out why this issue appears for some of the files. Even when we try to reencode the files (we tried in both ee3 and ee4), the same files produce the same problems.
