I'm trying to set up a live camera feed from my Microsoft LifeCam Cinema using Expression Encoder 4 Pro.

I have IIS 7 and its Media Services extension installed on Windows 7 x64, and from the IIS Manager window I went to the Default Web Site, Live Smooth Streaming Publishing Points, and created a push publishing point as per the tutorials on doing such things.  The only thing I changed was to disable archiving the stream, because I didn't want to save them.  I started the default web site and the publishing point (which changed to state: "Starting").

Continuing with the tutorial, I set up a video and audio input in Encoder, cued it, and selected a Live Smooth Streaming Widescreen preset.  It picks up my camera and the built-in mic just fine, I can see it in the thumbnail view.  When I go to the Output panel, I pick Streaming -> Publishing Point -> Location: http://THOM-DESKTOP/LiveSmoothStream.isml  and hit connect.  (http://MY-COMPUTER-NAME/ThePublishingPoint.isml)

Here's the problem:  After hitting connect, the little bubble starts flashing yellow and orange with the text "Locating" to the right.  After a moment the text changes to "Connecting" and stays that way.  It never connects.  It found my server (I get an error message if it doesn't, with a red bubble) but stays flashing yellow/orange and never connects to the server.  If at this point I Start the stream, it goes for a while then tells me I don't have enough bandwidth and I need to reduce the video size or cut out a stream or two.

I assume your IIS server is setup correctly (eg you can navigate to http://THOM-DESKTOP in IE and see the default server page)? When you created the publishing point, what name did you give it?
